Refund policy

At Unicorn Outfits, we want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, we're happy to help with a return or exchange under the terms below. This policy applies to customers worldwide, and includes additional statutory rights for customers in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA).
1. Return & Exchange Window
- You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of the delivery date .
- To be eligible, please contact us within 14 days of delivery , and ship the item back to us within 14 days of receiving return approval/instructions from us .
- Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
- We strongly recommend reviewing our size chart before placing your order. If you order the wrong size, you may exchange it, but return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility unless the exchange is required due to our error.
2. How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Email us at info@unicornoutfits.com or reach out via our Contact Us form , with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return/exchange, and the reason.
- We'll confirm your eligibility and provide return instructions (including the return address).
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it back to us.
- Once received and inspected, we'll process your refund or exchange.
Please do not send items back without contacting us first — unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping Costs
- Buyer-error returns (e.g., changed your mind, wrong size ordered, no longer wanted): the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Our error (defective item, wrong item shipped, damaged in transit): Unicorn Outfits will cover return shipping costs and will send a replacement or full refund at no extra charge.
- Buyers are responsible for any loss in value if an item is not returned in its original, unused condition.
- If a shipment is refused at delivery or returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided by the customer, any return shipping charges, customs fees, carrier fees, or other related costs may be deducted from the refund.
- If a shipment is unclaimed and returned to us by the shipping carrier, the customer will be responsible for any return shipping charges, customs fees, or other carrier-imposed costs.
4. Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected within 2–5 business days . We'll notify you of the approval status once the inspection has been completed.
If approved, you may choose between:
- A refund to your original payment method, or
- Store credit for a future purchase.
Once your return has been inspected and approved, refunds are typically processed within 10 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account.
Original expedited shipping fees are non-refundable, as this charge covers a service that has already been rendered. If you return your order, you will be refunded the product price only; the expedited shipping fee will not be included in your refund. This applies regardless of whether you exercise your standard return or your EU/EEA right of withdrawal, except where required otherwise by applicable law.
5. Exchanges
- We're happy to exchange items for a different size, color, or style, subject to availability.
- Follow the same process as returns (Section 2) and let us know what you'd like to exchange your item for.
- If the new item costs more, we'll send a payment link for the difference. If it costs less, we'll refund or credit the difference using your chosen method (Section 4).
- Approved exchange orders are generally processed and shipped within 3–7 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
6. Custom & Personalized Items
We do not list customized or personalized items as standard products in our store. However, if a customer requests something made to their own specifications — such as a custom design we don't currently stock, or a specific size, name, or color added to an item — this is treated as a custom order.
- Custom orders made at the customer's request are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange, unless they arrive defective or damaged, or do not match what was agreed upon.
- Any such customization will be confirmed with the customer (e.g., via email or contact form) before the order is produced and shipped.
- Note for EU/EEA customers: under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized. This exclusion is outlined further in Section 7.
7. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Customers)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason , in addition to the return rights described above.
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
- Notify us within 14 days of receiving your goods, either by:
- Cancelling directly from your account's Order Status page on account.unicornoutfits.com , or
- Emailing us at info@unicornoutfits.com or via our Contact Us form , clearly stating your decision to withdraw from the contract (an order number and a simple statement such as "I wish to withdraw from my purchase" is sufficient).
- You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us to send the goods back to us.
Refunds under the right of withdrawal:
- We will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (excluding any extra cost if you chose a delivery method other than our standard, least expensive option), within 14 days of either receiving the returned goods or receiving proof that you've shipped them back, whichever is earlier.
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
- You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
- You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and condition of the item.
Exclusions from the right of withdrawal:
As permitted under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized (see Section 6);
- Goods that are, by nature, inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
8. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Custom or personalized items (unless defective/incorrect) — see Section 6
- Items clearly marked as "Final Sale" or otherwise stated as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
- Gift cards
- Items returned without prior authorization, worn, washed, or damaged by the customer
9. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We'll arrange a free replacement, exchange, or full refund, including return shipping costs where applicable.
This policy applies to manufacturing defects, transit damage, or items shipped incorrectly by us. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, normal wear and tear, accidents, improper care, or alterations made after delivery.
10. International Returns — Customs Duties & Taxes
- Unicorn Outfits ships and accepts returns from customers worldwide.
- Return shipping times and costs may vary by destination.
- We are not responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by your country on returned shipments, except where the return is due to our error.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
11. Return Address & Country of Origin
All Unicorn Outfits products are manufactured and dispatched from Pakistan. Once your return is authorized, please ship your item to:

Please do not send returns without first contacting us for authorization (see Section 2), as items sent to this address without prior approval may not be processed.
Note: Since all products are manufactured and dispatched from Pakistan, international customers should allow sufficient time for return delivery and any customs clearance that may apply.
