Rivals Alex Hassell Black Leather Coat

Rivals gives this black leather coat its reference point, built around Rupert Campbell as played by Alex Hassell in the series. Real sheep leather forms the base, finished with a shirt collar rather than anything more elaborate. A YKK zipper runs the front and is paired with a belted closure, which pulls the coat in at the waist and gives it more definition than a plain zip would. Open hem cuffs finish the sleeves cleanly.

Pocket placement is the other thing worth noting: two zipper pockets sit on the chest, two more at the waist, and two additional pockets are built into the interior. A soft viscose lining runs through the inside. With that many zips and a belt in play, the coat reads busier than a standard black leather coat, though the single color keeps it cohesive. Worn over a plain dark knit with black trousers and leather boots, it settles into restrained territory. This is a style reference only, with no official tie to the series or to Hassell.
